DOOMSDAY 2008 TV
As that plays on TV in England, Eden shows up with the punk leader Sol's head in her hand, having arrived in his car. She returns to her family home and looks at photos, her cop buddy Nelson arrives (he had the address from the envelope she asked him to keep), and Eden gives him the recording from her eye/watch combo to expose Canaris as a crook. He thanks her, but mentioned he's going to hold off on the cure, mostly to serve his own purposes he flies off, but Eden stays in Scotland. Two opposing groups of survivors mess with Eden's team, and they slowly die off, until she ends up delivering Cally (Kane's daughter) to Canaris at the rescue helicopter, telling him survivors are immune to Reaper. The literal walling-off works for three decades until Reaper violently resurfaces in a major city. To contain the newly identified Reaper, the authorities brutally quarantine the country as it succumbs to fear and chaos. Eden leads the team in, finds lots of death, until two rival groups emerge as they search for Kane, suspecting he has the cure. Doomsday Trailer (2008) In Doomsday, a lethal virus spreads throughout a major country and kills hundreds of thousands. (Though they don't seek to save London, at least not until it's politically helpful to them, but they want to thin out the population a bit). A DDS raid discovers there's virus-infected in central London, so the Prime Minister Hatcher and Canaris both want to send in Eden and a team to find a survivor to develop a cure. of Domestic Security (DDS), going after drug rings in England (crime remains a huge problem as a result of the virus). Jump ahead 30 years, all are presumed dead, and adult Eden (with a robotic eye that can record video) now works for the Dept.
The deadly Reaper virus begins killing lots of folks in Scotland, so the British government puts up a 30 foot wall all around Scotland, and lets everyone die out (containment) a mom manages to put her young daughter (with an eye injury) on a military evacuation helicopter, along with their mailing address.

In my opinion this is a very underrated action adventure that deserves better especially after I found it just as entertaining on my second viewing as when I did the first time.Frank's Spoiled Movie Endings | Doomsday (2008) If you were expecting more horror or better story than chances are you will be disappointed. It is a B movie made to entertain, have fun with and nothing else. While having a top notch cast playing everything straight it does not take itself seriously.
Rhona Mitra is excellent as the female equivalent of Snake Plissken and even adds to it for obvious reasons. One thing you have to realize about Doomsday though. The second time you will be enjoying the action and the references to other movies more. When you watch this for the first time you will be in suspense throughout.
DOOMSDAY 2008 FULL
In my opinion this works quite well since instead focusing on plot Neil Marshal makes a full out action movie with enough thrills and tension to make you wonder where it is heading. 6 Underrated horror movies from the 80' s!ĭoomsday plays around with genres by borrowing from other movies like Escape from New York, Mad Max The Road Warrior and 28 Days Later.All the Friday the 13th reviews (1980 - 2009).
